After I walk up a flight of stairs

whatshouldwecallme:

I miss the escalators in the Menzies building. One of my tutes is 4 flights up and I feel guilty taking the lift. TOO MANY STAIRS. Although I may look fit, it is a lie.

I miss my cat, even though he was a massive pain in the neck. I am extremely glad that there isn’t anyone meowing in my face at 5.30 in the morning to make me get them food. Or snoring extremely loudly at the end of my bed. Still, he was a good cat (not really).

This is my latest 16 and pregnant observation. Has anyone else noticed that there has never been an asian teen mum on the show? Weird.

I think I might start wearing watches. Is that cool? Do people wear watches? I would use my phone, except it is kinda brain damaged from me dropping it all the time (and getting water on it and stepping on it and dropping it at a bar and losing all the pieces and finding them one by one).

It would also be nice to know what the real date is. My phone thinks it is January 2009 and refuses to accept otherwise. Every time I try to change it, it freezes, shuts down and reverts back to 2009. 2009 was an okay year I guess, but still!

I need to stop doing laundry when half asleep, I keep forgetting to add detergent and then nothing happens and I have to redo it all. Life is hard everyone.

I need to stop watching 16 and pregnant. Why is this show so darn addictive? I mean it isn’t really teaching me any lessons because there is no way I can ever be 16 and pregnant. THANK GOD.

One of my earring holes has totally grown over! ARGH. I’m scared to push it cos I tried last week and it wouldn’t stop bleeding for ages and it looked like I was the victim of a crime.

Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got, I’m still I’m still Manny from the block, I used to be hatless now I wear a lot, but no matter where I go I know where I came from.

Yes, I do have two massive assignments due, why do you ask?

Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got, I’m still Manny from the block

Me and Ming have been watching Degrassi: the next generation, and MAN that show is GREAT. I have learned so many lessons, especially from Manny from the block and Spinner.

Things that degrassi has taught me:

-Toronto has an unlimited number of J-Lo hats in all colours for Manny from the Block, and an excellent array of matching tracksuits.

-Me and Ming learned that there is no limit to the times you can sing ‘Jenny from the Block’ whenever you see a j-lo hat in the show. It is a true classic hit.

-Also, I have learned that having your bra straps down means you are a slut/hardcore (like Sean’s evil friends who think its smart to rob their school of lollies, dear god why).

Exhibit A:

-Bad asses in Toronto rob their school’s vending machine, and not for the money, FOR THE CHOCOLATE. Chocolate is also a great bribe for any annoying witnesses.

-Spinner is an idiot. The best part of the episode we just watched was when Jimmy, Marco and Spinner were watching porn and Jimmy was like ‘I don’t think some people really find this enjoyable’ (aka Marco), and Spinner was like ‘Why?’ and Marco said he was looking at the drapes AND THEN SPINNER CRANED HIS HEAD TO CHECK OUT THE DRAPES. Okay well anyway, it was funny in the show!

-Ice skating in flares is a bad idea.

-Wearing a g-string will attract the fella’s, but will traumatise everyone else forever. SHE IS 14.

Seriously, how low are her pants? Were my pants that low when I was 14? Aren’t g-strings extremely uncomfortable? So many questions.

-It’s a stupid idea to make out on your couch when your father is home.

And so many many more lessons. The most important thing that we can take away from this is that matching tracksuits and J-Lo hats are an unpleasant but hilarious style choice.

Oh and that ‘Jenny from the block’ is a musical miracle.

Having two pieces of broccoli and one piece of pumpkin totally undoes the fact I had a meat pie for dinner, right? Right? Good. I love meat pies, though god knows they are full of things I don’t like to think about.

So cute, but apparently it died or something.
